The Medicaid Reference Desk
Webinar July 28th I was recently forwarded information about TheDesk.info, it is described as a Medicaid resource desk for those with a cognitive disability. It looks like a great resource for everyone who is trying to navigate through the Medicaid system. This website provides resource specific for each state and has many waivers listed. They will be holding
webinars to provide
an introduction of the website. The next
webinar is being
held on July 28th at 1:00pm EST. They are planning another series of
webinars in the month of August. The contact information is
nward@thedesk.
Care Memory Bands As an added benefit you can use this device to add medical records that you may have electronically stored on your computer. it will be great to have all your medical information in one place. To purchase a care band, buy now. Don't forget to use code MO29, you will save $4.99 on your purchase of a bracelet or key chain. SWAN USA will get $5.00 for each item sold. The downside to these is that they weren't
specifically designed for children
and so the bracelet sizes may not fit a
small child. You can make a special order, however you will not get
a discount on special orders and SWAN won't get the benefit. If you
need to special order a size you would need to indicate the size in
the comments section. Do you like to play online games or know someone who likes to play games? At IWON.com you can play all sorts of games for free. As you play the games you will collect coins for winning. With the coins you collect you can then enter into sweepstakes. On top of all the fun and chances to win items or money, you can play to benefit a charity. It is called the IWON team challenge. You join a team and play games, the team with the most coins collected in any given month wins $5,000. Sound like fun, join SWAN USA's team. In the month of August we will come together and play, play, play. Choosing a month to put focus on the challenge will give us a better opportunity to win. Come to IWON on August 1st and don't leave until August 31st, then next month you could choose another charity to help.
